The work commonly referred to as the ‘Rebbe’s Haggadah’ is a Pesach Haggadah that presents a rich compilation of hundreds of insights and customs curated by the Rebbe, first published in 5706 (1946).
This Haggadah, which follows the text of the Alter Rebbe’s version, incorporates a diverse array of insights from various Sforim, with these annotations appearing in the margins throughout the text.
Initially released in 5706/1946, this edition contained forty-seven pages, with the main text on the right side and the ‘collections’ opposite it. Over the following years, the Rebbe added approximately forty new sections to his work, introduced in at least three separate phases, with additional excerpts incorporated every few years. However, these additions were not integrated into the main text but were placed at the end of the Haggadah. In 5733, twenty-seven years after its initial publication, a new edition was released that presented all compilations in a sequential order, now featured in the margins of the Haggadah.
Notably, a significant alteration occurred in the title of the Haggadah; the first edition was named “Likkutei Minhagim U’Ta’amim,” while subsequent editions reversed this to “Likkutei Ta’amim U’Minhagim.”
This special new edition features laminated pages that make cleanup from spills effortless, along with a spiral binding that allows for easy opening and reading.
